Melt! Festival 2016.
Last weekend I had an amazing time with friends at the Melt! Festival.
The festival was taking place from Friday, 15th until Sunday, 17th July 2016 at Ferropolis - 'the city of iron'. Such an impressive location. An peninsula with old and huge historical excavators measuring up to 30 meters high and 120 meters long. I am a big fan of Melt! as it completely addresses my taste of music. It is resident in the indie and electronic music scene. Roosevelt, M83, Tame Impala, Disclosure, Digitalism, Two Door Cinema Club and many more were performing this year. My personal favourite was Roosevelt. Overall the atmosphere was very relaxing, the people were in a good mood and even the weather was cooperating. Besides all the good acts that are playing every year, it's the location which makes this festival so special and extraordinary. Do the dance all night long.
Thanks for having me. Melt! 2016 - It was a blast.
I will definitely come back next year.
Make sure to check out my little playlist below with artists playing this year at Melt!.
The camping site. Inspiring and relaxing at the same time.
Such an insane location and line-up. Make sure to check out the Melt! Festival in 2017.
The enormous excavators make this location so special.
Drangsal at Medusa Stage.
Two Door Cinema Club on the Melt! Stage - an Irish indie rock band known for their songs Undercover Martyn or I Can Talk.
Me and my festival outfit - casual as always.
